Face, mouth & jaw tumor surgery is the main bulk of work at DIMS. The surgical approach for cancer surgery is vital structure preservation yet radical and curative with special emphasis on reconstruction.

Even the neck treatment includes functional neck dissection (modified radical neck dissection) which preserves spinal accessory nerve, internal jugular vein, sternomastoid muscle and even submandibular salivary gland in case of super selective neck dissection, a totally new concept; this would minimize post radiation dryness of mouth.
Multidisciplinary approach is used which includes radiation oncologist, medical oncologist, pathologist, imaginologist & prosthodontist. Special emphasis is given to a quality of life after radical cancer and tumor surgery.
All benign tumors of jaws are resected and reconstructed with advanced techniques.
