Vascular Tumour of Maxilla / Palate / Mid Face

Oral Cancer of Maxilla, Mid-face & Orbit - Tumors
Tumors or squamous cell carcinoma of maxilla, palate extending to orbit either requires maxillectomy or extended maxillectomy & orbital floor resection. Vascular tumors have threat of life threatening hemorrhage hence proper approach of carotid control or embolization should be considered. Orbital floor reconstruction is done by titanium mesh while maxilla can be reconstructed by muscle flap or free fibular flap.
